At UNC Charlotte, traditional Engineering majors are equipped with the skills to become innovators in their fields. Their coursework emphasizes the theoretical foundations of Engineering, with a curriculum structured to be approximately 60% theory and 40% application. Engineering students play a vital role in research and the design of new technologies within their respective disciplines. Major-specific classes and laboratory spaces are housed in the EPIC and Duke buildings. This tour will showcase the following majors: Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Computer Engineering.
